Hi I fell into a deal to purchase an Ekosea home and would like to share my thoughts on living in it so far!

1. there is a definite temperature range where the home works very well, between 40 and 80 F it works extremly well. Above and its uncomfortable and below you are just cold. I will go into this more later.

2. This house is in totally original condition as built in 1981 and we are currently doing a re-model, mainly an updating, although we have removed one non load bearing wall.

3. I have never been in a home as quiet as this one it is quite pleasant, in a wooded secluded area.

4. Thank God someone had some foresight in designing a home like this, well thought out and laid out. I cant imagine living in a home that wasnt this well designed, meets our family of 4's needs and even exceeds them!!

5 Did I mention non sunny days in sub40 degree weather are COLD, supplemental heat is there but needs updating, old wood burner sized incorrectly, working on that problem now.

6. Overall I am happy with the house, I need to get used to how it operates in very low and high temperatures, I feel that the claim of being totally passive is off a bit.
